How to Manage Orders Properly with Store Manager for osCommerce

Store Manager for osCommerce is a software that helps make routine tasks automated and as a result less time-consuming. Not only can you manage categories and products, customers, reports and manufacturers, but also control customer orders.

Order Management is one of the features provided with Store Manager for osCommerce, allowing to perform multiple operations in a very short period of time. You can overview and manage all your customer orders. They can be easily modified and all the needed change, for example, the  quantity of the ordered products, additional shipping charges, discounts or Taxes are applied without any effort.

Basic functions are fast and easy to perform, for instance, adding, editing and deleting take just several seconds of your time. A very comfortable order form enables you to specify all the important information about the customer, his card type, the date of the purchase and order status. Additional data like customer personal information, billing or shipping address can be modified as well. You can change it very fast by clicking on Edit button.

Calculating all the order costs is quite an interesting process. A very useful option is available here - by clicking on the Calculation Settings button you can see all the formulas according to which order values are counted. Here you can also change the shipping methods and expenditures for the products, introduce discounts on separate products or the whole product categories.

The Order Management section also has a useful function of modifying Order Statuses. They are listed in chronological order beginning with the first modified one, so it’s easy to monitor all the adjustments in the section. A special feature is that you can make a comment on the order status and see  whether the customer is notified about the changes in the order status.
